Jackson Bradley Ozier

I decided to back up a little bit, and tell Jack-Jack's story...

Jason and I had been married for 4 years and had just moved back to Mississippi from Fort Worth. We had not been trying to get pregnant, but we had been told by my former doctor that I would need to take fertility medication to get pregnant. So, we were a little nervous that it would be hard for us to have a baby. One afternoon I started feeling kind of weird. First of all, I wanted a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries for dinner (if you knew me before I was pregnant, you know how weird THAT is). After dinner, I fell asleep really early and when I woke up to get ready for bed, I was really hot and REALLY nauseated. I stayed home from work the next day because I was sick ALL night long. That next morning, I thought "hmmm...I wonder..." When I took the home test, I didn't believe the results. I took a picture of the test stick and emailed it to my mom for a second opinion. She opened the email and screamed, "Ahhhhh!! You are pregnant!!"

When Jason got home, I told him that he had a surprise waiting for him at our house (we were building our house at the time). When we got there, I took him to the room that we had already decided would be the nursery "when we had a baby." I gave him a card and a gold box. The card said "Valentine's Day will be extra special this year.... Can you guess why?" He looked at me, completely puzzled. Then he opened the box which was lined with baby rattle paper and held a pacifier tied with a big ribbon. He looked up at me and said "Nuh uh." I smiled and shook my head yes. He said, "Nuh uh!!" Then I lifted up my shirt and showed him my belly (see picture).. He said, "I need to sit down." (see picture :) )...We hugged and cried...It was very, very special day!!

(When I first started blogging, I couldn't stop either...it is addicting! I slowed down now, finally!)
